Ask anyone, except those who really have to deal with the Poles personally, what second language they would wish to learn. They would probably choose any European, Asian or even Arabic language but rarely would you hear an eager answer that Polish would be it. That is understandable enough for even Poland’s own people say that they too make mistakes in speaking their own language.
